Grand Theft Auto 5 - Street Race Series #01

This blog will only talk about the Street Race in Grand Theft Auto 5 with the Race Track and some tips.

1. To unlock Street Race
You won't unlock the Street Race until you have done some missions and Strangers & Freaks, for this one you have to at least completed "Pulling Favors". And you have to play as Franklin to unlock it and this "?" only appear during Night time (20:00 - 5:00 / 22:00 - 5:00)

For me, since at the beginning you don't have much money to buy & mod the your vehicle so I haven't do that at that time plus I don't know the exactly location, I am quite confused.

The best time to do Street Race should be after your first Heist mission "The Jewel Stone Job" since you will get a lot money after that mission.

If you have done that, you should see a Green "?" near Franklin 1st House at Strawberry / Power St (Screenshot)

You probably will see a guy who call "Hao" stay near his sport car, then the side mission "Shift Work" will started.

Get a fast Car and drive to the location to begin the Race, this race track call "South Los Santos".

Finish the Race and the Street Race will unlocked. But at first you only have 1 or 2 showed on the Map, you have to done those to unlock New one (Hao will send you text to tell you new race available).

For gold medal of this mission:
Fastest Lap - Complete a lap within 1:20
Underdog - Finish the Race within 2:50
Clean Race - Finish the Race with less than 5 collisions

Tips:
1. Use "Special Ability" to slow down time when you hit the corner
2. I recommend you try to max out Franklin Special Ability to 100 / 100 so you can use longer Special Ability to take advantage. (That the only way to rank high in leaderboard...)

My First Experience in South Los Santos Track:
After learning the timing of using Special Ability and use the Adder (Bugatti Veyron), I did a better lap time and overall time and Rank top 100 at that time. (Video deleted)

Last 2 days I have attempt this track for 4th time but I haven't record it, but the result turn out I did a lot faster and rank top 25...

Overall time: 1:16.000, Fastest Lap: 35.931

Well, I still hit the leaderboard like I did in Max Payne 3 Arcade Mode (New York Minute & Score Attack) so I won't give up to rank higher, but I know GTA have a lot more players than Max Payne 3 so this is much more challenging.
